CO Leadership Scheme: Roles and Responsibility of Section Leaders

To nurture young leaders of the future, RosythCO has come up with a leadership scheme in 2010. RosythCO has identified student leaders, not only to help discover their leadership potential, also to help teachers in-charge, conductress, instructors and their peers in running of the CCA successfully.

Roles & responsibilities of Section Leaders
（声部组长的责任）
Pre-Practice排练前:
•Remind section members about the practice date and time
提醒组员排练的日期与时间
•Gather and organise section members before the start of the practice (seated according to sections)
召集组员；按照声部排好队
•Mark attendance of section members and inform teacher in-charge of the absentees
点名
•Lead section members in the collection of instruments in an orderly manner
带领组员有秩序地拿乐器

During Practice排练中:
•Ensure that the section members take good care of their instruments and resources allocated to them
确保组员爱惜乐器
•Maintain discipline within section and report any misbehaviour to the instructors and teachers
提醒组员专心练习；如果有组员捣乱，组长必须即时通知负责老师/指挥/教练
•Provide guidance to members especially junior & new members in skill playing
帮助华乐新成员掌握/练习弹奏乐器的技巧

Pre-Practice排练后:
•Ensure that the section members return their instruments carefully and neatly
确保组员有条有理地把乐器放回原位
•Keep track of the instruments being loaned out by the section members
帮忙记录组员借/还乐器的日期

The leaders always sets the trial for others to follow.
